RAMP is an intensive summer mathematics program for incoming MIT freshmen interested in majoring in mathematics. We welcome undergraduate students with an on-ramp to the MIT Department of Mathematics and the broader field of mathematics, preparing them for success in the math major and building a community that spans the full department, from undergraduate majors to graduate students to faculty and staff.

Information for Current MIT Undergraduate Students
We anticipate hiring six MIT undergraduate math majors as counselors for the 2026 program. Counselors will live on campus with the students and serve as mathematical role models. Counselors will receive a stipend, room and board, and travel to and from the program.
